My Favorite Lauren Blakely Book!!

4.5☆ The Knocked Up Plan has now become my favorite Lauren Blakely book. I wasn't sure how much I would like Nicole based on the other books, but I thought she was a very well written character. She's an outgoing and determined woman who knows what she wants and decides to go for it, even if it isn't the norm. I loved Ryder! He's such a nice, caring guy and I really enjoyed reading about him. I loved seeing how his attitude about love changed throughout the book. I was very pleased that this was a dual perspective book. A lot would be lost if it would have only been from Ryder's POV. I love Ryder and Nicole's relationship and how they manage everything along the way. The storyline was different, definitely interesting, and of course funny!

Lauren Blakely, she has never done me wrong. I adore every single one of her books. The Knocked Up Plan was something I was not expecting but I’ve got to say, in my eyes, this is her best work yet. Nicole is a single, professional woman whose biological clock is ticking. Loudly. She is looking for the perfect specimen to father her baby, no strings attached. Nicole just wants a donor and she thinks she’s found that in Ryder, her co-worker. He’s sweet, smart and his DNA would be top notch. Ryder IS the epitome of the perfect man. Sexy, smart, genuine, but he’s also a man burned by his ex-wife. He was completely blindsided by her and the surprises that came along with her secrets. Ryder just wants to put it all in the past and move on with his life. He enjoys his work and enjoys spending time with his co-worker, Nicole. When Ryder needs to take his radio show in a different direction, taking a woman out on a few dates seems to be the way to go. LOVE! -Love Book Triangle

I adored The Knocked Up Plan! The whole storyline is so much fun and super unique! I loved Ryder and Nicole and their very odd way of getting together. They get along very well and mesh quite well outside the bedroom. Inside is super steamy baby making! I enjoyed their journey to finding who they were to one another and loved the sweet side to the story. I could not put this book down! I highly recommend any romance reader check this book out!

A trip to romance paradise!

Omg....I loved this book! And not just any regular-type love that I have for all of Lauren's books, but a wholehearted, all-encompassing, bona fide LOVE!! The Knocked Up Plan's title is 100% catchy, and the uniqueness of the story line keeps you intrigued the entire time. Factor in the incredible writing and a def-con swoon level of about a million, and this book is a trip to romance paradise! "And I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'm in love with the mother of my child." I literally got goosebumps from reading that line. A slow shiver ran through me, and I was a complete goner over the book! The romance and passion will no doubt get your heart racing, but the compassion, emotions, and insecurities hit your right in the feels when you least expect it. The character development, and comedic interactions and dialogue truly showcases The Knocked Up Plan's entertainment aspects. The Knocked Up Plan is a genuine and heartfelt, friends-to-lovers romance that will make you beg for more!

Ryder and Nicole are relationship experts until it comes to their own. Nicole wants a baby and wants Ryder to be the sperm donor without obligations and future responsibilities. Ryder likes the idea because he is not interested in any responsibility or relationship, but he wants to do things his way. I love this couple so much.

enjoyable fun romance. 

The Knocked Up Plan is a sweet romance. With lots of Sexy Times.  Ryder and Nicole are co-workers. With their own radio shows. There’s one thing that Nicole wants and has always wanted. A baby! She doesn’t feel that she will never feel what it’s like, to be truly in love. So she comes out with a plan, a plan that doesn’t go as expected.  This to me had a different feel to it. The two characters really didn’t have that magnetic pull, that I'm used too, with Lauren’s characters. But I did highly enjoy it. You kind of know in the beginning where it will all lead. Because you can’t just not fall in love with someone and spend so much time with them. Overall, I give this Four Boundless Stars. It was an enjoyable fun romance.

A Review of The Knocked Up Plan (was The Wild One) by Lauren Blakely A tadpole, a woman, and a ring - 5+++++ stars If you've read any of Lauren's recent books, you will have already met Nicole. We've seen her running with the other girls and their dogs. She is the one that was always touted as the relationship expert, but never believed that finding 'the one' was for her. We finally get to learn more about Nicole and why she is the way she is. She hosts a radio show called Hanky Panky Love. Ryder hosts his own show for the same media giant as Lauren. The two of them have been friends for quite a while, so when Lauren poses a request of her friend, they are both caught off guard. I absolutely love the interactions between ALL of the characters in this story. The relationships that Lauren has cultivated with her besties (and even the daughter of one) is beautiful. You guys really don't want to miss this one! I absolutely ADORED it. Favorite quotes - - "...I had the harebrained idea to ask my co-worker for a cup of baby batter." I absolutely loved Ryder and Nicole's story!

I don't know how the woman does it!! How Blakely can take a super sweet and endearing story and make it dirty and sexy all at the same time. But she does, and it's golden! The perfect story! I've read just about every book by Blakely and each time I think 'This one. This one is my favorite.' And then she releases a new one and that one becomes my favorite too. Lol. Her books are so hard to choose from when asked 'what is your favorite Lauren Blakely book?' because I honestly love them all. The story lines are always different, the characters are always relatable, the banter between the characters is always witty, sexy and fun and they usually always pull at my heart strings. But this book you guys, it really is ranked at the tippity top of my favorite Blakely book pile. Nicole is so sweet, I just love her! She's independent and knows what she wants, and she doesn't need a man to get it. Well, ok, she kinda does need a man....or at least something from a man to achieve her ultimate goal, a baby. She's fully ready to do it alone, go to a sperm bank and get what she's always wanted. But, she starts thinking about what if she had the perfect donor within reach? Someone she knows who is 'the perfect specimen'?. She just has to muster up the courage to ask, and see what he says. Ryder....oh how I love Ryder! He's sexy, funny, sweet, romantic and really a great guy even though he feels jaded by his ex-wife. And he has ever right to feel that way, considering. But his ex-wife's loss is someone else's gain right? *wink* **Once I’m under his kissing spell, he parts my lips, opens my mouth, and tangles his tongue with mine. Softly, I moan into his mouth. Lauren Blakely, is one gifted author. I have never read one book of hers I haven't fallen in love with the male character, and this one is no different. I loved it from beginning to end. If your looking for an awesome unexpected Love Story, you've found the right book. You will laugh, uncontrollably. Plan on a bit of anxiety waiting for them to figure things out. Fantastic! This is one of the best romances I've read. It is simple in nature with fun, realistic characters and a storyline filled with all kinds of love leading to a true and everlasting love. Nicole and Ryder are excellent characters that you can easily relate to. They're smart, funny, respectful and romantic (even if they don't realize it). Everything about them just works, the sex, the dates and the baby. I absolutely believe this is a must read for anyone who loves a true love romance. It's a don't miss read. Once again, I bow down to the greatness of Lauren Blakely’s comedic writing prowess and her ability to craft realistic and complex characters who traverse the modern dating world with a plethora of hang-ups and cynical attitudes. And, in her newest release, The Knocked Up Plan, Blakely constructs her story around two characters who are considered “dating gurus;” a hero and heroine who serve as life coaches to their radio and newspaper audiences, offering “dating, mating, and cohabitating” advice in order for their listeners to have a chance at a happily ever after in contemporary society. What’s most interesting about these romance instructors is that they don’t practice what they preach…for Nicole, it’s because she feels defective when it comes to giving her heart to someone, and for Ryder, it’s because he gave his heart to the wrong person who then proceeded to destroy every romantic notion he ever had when it came to his own love life. But despite their personal love issues, Nicole and Ryder join forces for “Project Bun in the Oven,” which means that as Ryder works to get his wingman mojo back by constructing a field guide to dating, Nicole and Ryder take a ride on the “baby-making train” allowing Nicole to get her heart’s desire and Ryder to “walk the walk” and “talk the talk” when it comes to winning the right woman’s heart, making his boss happy and perhaps re-educating himself about romance and intimacy. I just have to get this out of the way first...*swoon* Lauren F- Blakely never disappoints. With every book I fall in love even more with her writing and her characters. Ryder is definitely in my Top 5 Blakely Men list. And Nicole is up there for one of my favorite heroines. Together...they are everything and more. Two dating radio show hosts. One as given up on finding the one. The other thought he found the one and got burned. He doesn't want that again. Her wit, determination and caring nature won me over immediately. I love a strong woman who goes after what she wants. That is one of Lauren Blakely’s strong suits. She never creates a weak woman. Ryder has made it onto my favorite Blakely Boy list. Swoon. That man and his ovaries exploding charm is everything you need in a hero. Betrayed in a previous relationship, it is not hard to understand why he sought out to remain single and unattached. Even though he is a confirmed commitment-phobe, he wasn’t a manwhore. Loved that. He’s such a great guy and I really really fell for him. If you are a fan of great romantic comedies with sweetness, great characters, heat, and a unique and refreshing plot line, I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan. There is so much to love about this friends to lovers romance! It is hilarious, hot & steamy and a new sexy alpha hero that you can't help but fall in love with. Ryder is a successful author who helps men find the woman of their dreams. Since the breakup of his marriage he has lost his faith in the HEA. His boss is forcing him to find his romantic side again and come up with a dating guide. Ryder is at a loss at where to start. His sexy coworker and ping pong partner, Nicole, believes she isn't made for love. She does feel her clock ticking and wants to have a baby tho. Handsome, smart, funny, Ryder has the perfect attributes to be the potential father. They come to an agreement to help each other out. But as they spend more time together going on the perfect dates and then trying to make a baby, their attraction grows. Will they be able to walk away when their 'projects' are completed without breaking their hearts and remain friends? I loved Ryder and Nicole together, their banter was witty, and their chemistry was explosive. They also complimented each other, feeling like two halves of a whole, completing each other. We were treated to cameos from characters from previous books which is always fun. There are also some intriguing twin brothers that I hope to read more about soon. Nicole has not had luck in the love department and she's ready to have a baby alone. After looking at sperm banks and everyone falling short, she realizes the perfect choice is right under her nose. Who better than her sexy co-worker to provide her with his perfect genes. Ryder is the perfect choice because he's not interested in being anything more. Turns out they can both help each other. Well, things get complicated when they decided to have fun and do things the natural way. You are going to love the hot, funny banter between them. Terrific, fun read from a talented author!

This charming tale of Nicole and Ryder draws you in from the first page. Nicole, a radio talk show host, expert on love and relationships, has never been in love. As a strong, independent woman, she decides she doesn’t need a man, but wants to have a baby alone. Ryder, a hot-as-sin colleague, works at the same station and has all the attributes she wants in a donor. Though the storyline is somewhat predictable, the writing is crisp and quick, the characters are extremely likable, their chemistry is hot, banter is delightful and I couldn’t help wishing for them to find their happily ever after. The Knocked Up Plan is a terrific read from this very talented author.

Scrumptious!

This book is absolutely scrumptious in every way! I love being able to experience the story from both Ryder and the Nicole's point of view because while I might intrinsically know what a woman is thinking I usually have no idea what men are thinking and the insight really enhances the storyline for me. Lauren writes the most entertaining sexual innuendo between her characters and all that dirty-talking flirtation sets the scene for panty-melting sex scenes that are really HOT but never cross the line into vulgarity which is a real turn-off for me. And, last but not least, what could be sexier than a baby daddy who adores the changes pregnancy brings to a woman's body and is humbled by the sight of his child on an ultrasound screen? OMG! My extremely happy heart melted all over the floor at the end of this happily-ever-after that is one of Lauren's best books to date. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

Once again, Lauren gave a story that was sweet, hot, and entertaining. I truly enjoyed every moment as I was reading and couldn’t get enough of it. Ryder and Nicole were such great characters. And these two together were fantastic. So perfect and explosive. I laughed, smiled, and swooned. The premise of the story is in the blurb but there is so much more to it than just having a baby. The feels in this story was overwhelming. A beautiful fun romantic story that will definitely have the reader smiling at the end. Lauren always knows how to give a charming light read. In this masterpiece you will find bold easy to like characters who are never afraid to put themselves out there. Lauren was brilliant in how she intertwined this story with the careers of Nicole and Ryder. While you may sniffle time to time you will laugh as much from the quick quips out of the good-hearted friends and family that surround them as well as the two who seemed to have done their homework to be knowledgeable on what they want. Obviously plenty of sex! Love how the plan unfolded! Great read!!

I do not even have to start to think about how I want to write this review because I simply adored this book so very much! I cannot fathom how Lauren Blakely continues to pen stories that are heartwarming, hilarious and hot all wrapped up in a perfect package! But she does and thank goodness for that! Nicole and Ryder are faced with a serious decision and a real-life problem...and they tackle it for sure! I love how this story is from both POVs so you can get a full picture of this adventure! If you're looking for romance, fun, surprises and "cupcakes" this book is for you!

I'm always a fan of Lauren Blakely's work-her writing is my kryptonite. When I see her books on my kindle they immediately move to the top of my TBR list-and I devour them. I try to savor...but I just can't. The concept this particular book sounded so different that I was dying to get my hands on it. I wanted to see the journey these two took. As I've come to expect from Ms. Blakely this book had me laughing out loud in spots, and swooning in others. It even had me crying-more than once. From the very first sentence I was sucked in. Nicole charmed me immediately-I adored her. I GOT her. I thought she was funny and sweet. She's a strong woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. Her support system is great-both family and friends-and I loved cheering her on as I read along. Ryder. Holy sexy Ryder. I was expecting to find him fun and to fall in love with him a bit but he stole my heart. He's funny and smart but there's this vulnerable side I didn't see coming. Watching him evolve personally was incredible. He had me swooning and sighing. Now these two together? Prepare for your kindle to melt. The spark between them quickly becomes an inferno. Their first kiss is going down as one of my top five first kisses ever written-it's that good. But it's not all heat between them. Don't get me wrong, the sexy times are fantastic, but it's the relationship these two begin to unintentionally craft that had me grinning. Crazy fun dates, sweet little moments. The situation these two choose to put themselves in is tricky-and the author shows the balance they need to have perfectly. I haven't found another author who portrays the reality of a relationship as well as Lauren Blakely does. I *have* to mention the supporting cast of characters here. If you've read any of this author's other books be prepared to see some past characters make an appearance. I loved seeing these characters (even if they were just briefly mentioned) and catching up with them. I literally danced in my chair when my all time favorite Lauren Blakely hero made a cameo appearance. Don't worry-If you haven't read other books it's ok-this IS a standalone. I'd rate this book higher than five stars if I possibly could. It's just that incredible. This is a book I will read over and over. It has everything-humor, heart and heat. The characters are sexy and fun and real. Ms. Blakely has shown again why she is an immediate one click author for me and I eagerly look forward to her next book. I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan.

Pure fun!!

Pure fun!! That is a Lauren Blakely book. I really do not know how many different ways that I can say "I Loved The Knocked Up Plan"! Excellent writing, well-developed characters, new and recurring characters that you just totally enjoying reading about. A woman who does not think that she is capable of love wants a baby. So she asks her very handsome coworker who possesses many many other perfect characteristics to be her baby daddy. Her coworker asks a favor of her as well. He has a work project so together they agree to help each other out. Here comes the fun. Lots and lots of fun. Like all Lauren Blakely books, you have super swoon-worthy guys, strong yet feminine women who together make for a great story and a great escape into Lauren's world. Totally recommend The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Ryder Lockhart and Nicole Powers The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely Lauren has delivered another bundle of joy for her readers. The Knocked Up Plan is a fun read that left this reader with a warm heart and a need to have a tissue box handy. This is not a sappy chick flick kind of book but there are moments when I just couldn’t help feeling sad for Nicole. I must also tell you I spent much of the time laughing. There were also moments when you wanted to smack them upside the head and say WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!! This is the first book that I have shared the plot to and read some of the lines out loud to my husband. I would be sitting there chuckling and he would ask what was so funny and I would read the passage. Let me tell you he just looked at me with a confused look on his face and didn’t even crack a smile. He has no clue why I continue to read these books (shhhh being male and all he doesn’t understand the NEED to read). We get to meet Nicole when she is going to tell her friends she has decided to have a child. It is the one thing she wants more than anything and she is going to do it on her own. She works for Hanky Panky Love (hahaha love this name), the dating division of media company. She writes a column and has a radio show on giving advice to women about sex and dating. Ryder Lockhart works for the same company any Nicole and they have been friends for the year he has worked there. Ryder does the same thing as Nicole only for men. He was married but is not divorced. His ex-wife had many affairs and was a sex addict. We get to learn how he found out and what went through his head during that time. Ryder is the type of man we all wish we can find. He takes his vows seriously so he felt very betrayed when he found out about her cheating. Divorce was his only option. Nicole believe she is broken because she has not found love and believes she isn’t capable of feeling that way for a man. Ryder doesn’t want to put his heart on the line again because he doesn’t want to get hurt. What happens when these two decide to work together to reach a common goal? You are going to have to read to find out. As a reader you almost dread picking up a romance book because they are all the same—find love; loose love; make up. Not in Lauren books. Her writing style is fun and flow seamlessly. It is fun to read text conversations between the characters; get to read what is going on in the character’s head or read their top 5 lists to decide how to proceed next. A lot of time the characters are on the same page and don’t even know it. The complexity of the story line seems to flow naturally through the pages and keeps the reader interested.

My Favorite Lauren Blakely Book!!

4.5☆ The Knocked Up Plan has now become my favorite Lauren Blakely book. I wasn't sure how much I would like Nicole based on the other books, but I thought she was a very well written character. She's an outgoing and determined woman who knows what she wants and decides to go for it, even if it isn't the norm. I loved Ryder! He's such a nice, caring guy and I really enjoyed reading about him. I loved seeing how his attitude about love changed throughout the book. I was very pleased that this was a dual perspective book. A lot would be lost if it would have only been from Ryder's POV. I love Ryder and Nicole's relationship and how they manage everything along the way. The storyline was different, definitely interesting, and of course funny!

Lauren Blakely, she has never done me wrong. I adore every single one of her books. The Knocked Up Plan was something I was not expecting but I’ve got to say, in my eyes, this is her best work yet. I adored The Knocked Up Plan! The whole storyline is so much fun and super unique! I loved Ryder and Nicole and their very odd way of getting together. They get along very well and mesh quite well outside the bedroom. Inside is super steamy baby making! Omg....I loved this book! And not just any regular-type love that I have for all of Lauren's books, but a wholehearted, all-encompassing, bona fide LOVE!! The Knocked Up Plan's title is 100% catchy, and the uniqueness of the story line keeps you intrigued the entire time. Factor in the incredible writing and a def-con swoon level of about a million, and this book is a trip to romance paradise! "And I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'm in love with the mother of my child." I literally got goosebumps from reading that line. A slow shiver ran through me, and I was a complete goner over the book! The romance and passion will no doubt get your heart racing, but the compassion, emotions, and insecurities hit your right in the feels when you least expect it. The character development, and comedic interactions and dialogue truly showcases The Knocked Up Plan's entertainment aspects. The Knocked Up Plan is a genuine and heartfelt, friends-to-lovers romance that will make you beg for more!

Ryder and Nicole are relationship experts until it comes to their own. Nicole wants a baby and wants Ryder to be the sperm donor without obligations and future responsibilities. Ryder likes the idea because he is not interested in any responsibility or relationship, but he wants to do things his way. I love this couple so much.

The Knocked Up Plan is a sweet romance. With lots of Sexy Times.  Ryder and Nicole are co-workers. With their own radio shows. There’s one thing that Nicole wants and has always wanted. A baby! She doesn’t feel that she will never feel what it’s like, to be truly in love. So she comes out with a plan, a plan that doesn’t go as expected.  This to me had a different feel to it. The two characters really didn’t have that magnetic pull, that I'm used too, with Lauren’s characters. But I did highly enjoy it. You kind of know in the beginning where it will all lead. Because you can’t just not fall in love with someone and spend so much time with them. Overall, I give this Four Boundless Stars. It was an enjoyable fun romance.

A Review of The Knocked Up Plan (was The Wild One) by Lauren Blakely A tadpole, a woman, and a ring - 5+++++ stars If you've read any of Lauren's recent books, you will have already met Nicole. We've seen her running with the other girls and their dogs. She is the one that was always touted as the relationship expert, but never believed that finding 'the one' was for her. We finally get to learn more about Nicole and why she is the way she is. She hosts a radio show called Hanky Panky Love. Ryder hosts his own show for the same media giant as Lauren. The two of them have been friends for quite a while, so when Lauren poses a request of her friend, they are both caught off guard. I absolutely love the interactions between ALL of the characters in this story. The relationships that Lauren has cultivated with her besties (and even the daughter of one) is beautiful. You guys really don't want to miss this one! I absolutely ADORED it. Favorite quotes - - "...I had the harebrained idea to ask my co-worker for a cup of baby batter." I don't know how the woman does it!! How Blakely can take a super sweet and endearing story and make it dirty and sexy all at the same time. But she does, and it's golden! The perfect story! I've read just about every book by Blakely and each time I think 'This one. This one is my favorite.' And then she releases a new one and that one becomes my favorite too. Lol. Her books are so hard to choose from when asked 'what is your favorite Lauren Blakely book?' because I honestly love them all. The story lines are always different, the characters are always relatable, the banter between the characters is always witty, sexy and fun and they usually always pull at my heart strings. But this book you guys, it really is ranked at the tippity top of my favorite Blakely book pile. Nicole is so sweet, I just love her! She's independent and knows what she wants, and she doesn't need a man to get it. Well, ok, she kinda does need a man....or at least something from a man to achieve her ultimate goal, a baby. She's fully ready to do it alone, go to a sperm bank and get what she's always wanted. But, she starts thinking about what if she had the perfect donor within reach? Someone she knows who is 'the perfect specimen'?. She just has to muster up the courage to ask, and see what he says. Ryder....oh how I love Ryder! He's sexy, funny, sweet, romantic and really a great guy even though he feels jaded by his ex-wife. And he has ever right to feel that way, considering. But his ex-wife's loss is someone else's gain right? *wink* **Once I’m under his kissing spell, he parts my lips, opens my mouth, and tangles his tongue with mine. Softly, I moan into his mouth. Lauren Blakely, is one gifted author. I have never read one book of hers I haven't fallen in love with the male character, and this one is no different. I loved it from beginning to end. Fantastic! This is one of the best romances I've read. It is simple in nature with fun, realistic characters and a storyline filled with all kinds of love leading to a true and everlasting love. Nicole and Ryder are excellent characters that you can easily relate to. They're smart, funny, respectful and romantic (even if they don't realize it). Everything about them just works, the sex, the dates and the baby. I absolutely believe this is a must read for anyone who loves a true love romance. It's a don't miss read. Once again, I bow down to the greatness of Lauren Blakely’s comedic writing prowess and her ability to craft realistic and complex characters who traverse the modern dating world with a plethora of hang-ups and cynical attitudes. And, in her newest release, The Knocked Up Plan, Blakely constructs her story around two characters who are considered “dating gurus;” a hero and heroine who serve as life coaches to their radio and newspaper audiences, offering “dating, mating, and cohabitating” advice in order for their listeners to have a chance at a happily ever after in contemporary society. What’s most interesting about these romance instructors is that they don’t practice what they preach…for Nicole, it’s because she feels defective when it comes to giving her heart to someone, and for Ryder, it’s because he gave his heart to the wrong person who then proceeded to destroy every romantic notion he ever had when it came to his own love life. But despite their personal love issues, Nicole and Ryder join forces for “Project Bun in the Oven,” which means that as Ryder works to get his wingman mojo back by constructing a field guide to dating, Nicole and Ryder take a ride on the “baby-making train” allowing Nicole to get her heart’s desire and Ryder to “walk the walk” and “talk the talk” when it comes to winning the right woman’s heart, making his boss happy and perhaps re-educating himself about romance and intimacy. I just have to get this out of the way first...*swoon* Lauren F- Blakely never disappoints. With every book I fall in love even more with her writing and her characters. Ryder is definitely in my Top 5 Blakely Men list. And Nicole is up there for one of my favorite heroines. Together...they are everything and more. Two dating radio show hosts. One as given up on finding the one. The other thought he found the one and got burned. He doesn't want that again. Overall...it's one of those books that you don't want to end. But at the same time you want to know how it will end. It's a fun, sexy, sweet, and emotional story. Nicole wants to have a baby. Alone. She just needs to find the perfect donor. She’s looking for someone who is college educated, handsome, and obviously not a serial killer. Enter Ryder, her sexy coworker. He’s perfect. Meets all her criteria and more importantly he’s not looking for a relationship. They strike up a deal where Nicole helps Ryder with a work project in return for his “cupcakes.” The baby making fun ensues and feelings develop. I am pretty much obsessed with Ryder and Nicole’s relationship. Their friendship evolved over the months of arrangement into something strong and passionate. They connect so well because they are both genuinely good people with shared interest and off the charts chemistry. I mean, they are seriously perfect for each other. Oh and their kisses and embraces are smoking hot. I just adored them. From the very first page, I just knew I was going to love Nicole. Her wit, determination and caring nature won me over immediately. I love a strong woman who goes after what she wants. That is one of Lauren Blakely’s strong suits. She never creates a weak woman. Ryder has made it onto my favorite Blakely Boy list. Swoon. That man and his ovaries exploding charm is everything you need in a hero. Betrayed in a previous relationship, it is not hard to understand why he sought out to remain single and unattached. Even though he is a confirmed commitment-phobe, he wasn’t a manwhore. Loved that. He’s such a great guy and I really really fell for him. If you are a fan of great romantic comedies with sweetness, great characters, heat, and a unique and refreshing plot line, I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan. Time and time again, this author knocks it out of the park. She never disappoints.

There is so much to love about this friends to lovers romance! It is hilarious, hot & steamy and a new sexy alpha hero that you can't help but fall in love with. Ryder is a successful author who helps men find the woman of their dreams. Since the breakup of his marriage he has lost his faith in the HEA. His boss is forcing him to find his romantic side again and come up with a dating guide. Ryder is at a loss at where to start. His sexy coworker and ping pong partner, Nicole, believes she isn't made for love. She does feel her clock ticking and wants to have a baby tho. Handsome, smart, funny, Ryder has the perfect attributes to be the potential father. They come to an agreement to help each other out. But as they spend more time together going on the perfect dates and then trying to make a baby, their attraction grows. I loved Ryder and Nicole together, their banter was witty, and their chemistry was explosive. They also complimented each other, feeling like two halves of a whole, completing each other. We were treated to cameos from characters from previous books which is always fun. There are also some intriguing twin brothers that I hope to read more about soon. I highly recommend this heartfelt, smart, funny, sweet and sexy romance!

The Knocked Up Plan was fun, flirty, sexy and made me swoon! Lauren Blakely made me fall once again for her amazing leading man. Nicole has not had luck in the love department and she's ready to have a baby alone. After looking at sperm banks and everyone falling short, she realizes the perfect choice is right under her nose. Who better than her sexy co-worker to provide her with his perfect genes. Ryder is the perfect choice because he's not interested in being anything more. Turns out they can both help each other. Terrific, fun read from a talented author!

This charming tale of Nicole and Ryder draws you in from the first page. Nicole, a radio talk show host, expert on love and relationships, has never been in love. As a strong, independent woman, she decides she doesn’t need a man, but wants to have a baby alone. Ryder, a hot-as-sin colleague, works at the same station and has all the attributes she wants in a donor. Though the storyline is somewhat predictable, the writing is crisp and quick, the characters are extremely likable, their chemistry is hot, banter is delightful and I couldn’t help wishing for them to find their happily ever after. The Knocked Up Plan is a terrific read from this very talented author.

Scrumptious!

This book is absolutely scrumptious in every way! I love being able to experience the story from both Ryder and the Nicole's point of view because while I might intrinsically know what a woman is thinking I usually have no idea what men are thinking and the insight really enhances the storyline for me. Lauren writes the most entertaining sexual innuendo between her characters and all that dirty-talking flirtation sets the scene for panty-melting sex scenes that are really HOT but never cross the line into vulgarity which is a real turn-off for me. And, last but not least, what could be sexier than a baby daddy who adores the changes pregnancy brings to a woman's body and is humbled by the sight of his child on an ultrasound screen? OMG! My extremely happy heart melted all over the floor at the end of this happily-ever-after that is one of Lauren's best books to date. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

A heartfelt sweet story

Once again, Lauren gave a story that was sweet, hot, and entertaining. I truly enjoyed every moment as I was reading and couldn’t get enough of it. Ryder and Nicole were such great characters. And these two together were fantastic. So perfect and explosive. I laughed, smiled, and swooned. The premise of the story is in the blurb but there is so much more to it than just having a baby. The feels in this story was overwhelming. A beautiful fun romantic story that will definitely have the reader smiling at the end. Lauren always knows how to give a charming light read. Readers will enjoy this new addition to the sexy Blakely men and awesome women. An amazing read.

Lauren was brilliant in how she intertwined this story with the careers of Nicole and Ryder. While you may sniffle time to time you will laugh as much from the quick quips out of the good-hearted friends and family that surround them as well as the two who seemed to have done their homework to be knowledgeable on what they want. I cannot fathom how Lauren Blakely continues to pen stories that are heartwarming, hilarious and hot all wrapped up in a perfect package! But she does and thank goodness for that! Nicole and Ryder are faced with a serious decision and a real-life problem...and they tackle it for sure! I love how this story is from both POVs so you can get a full picture of this adventure! I'm always a fan of Lauren Blakely's work-her writing is my kryptonite. When I see her books on my kindle they immediately move to the top of my TBR list-and I devour them. I try to savor...but I just can't. The concept this particular book sounded so different that I was dying to get my hands on it. I wanted to see the journey these two took. As I've come to expect from Ms. Blakely this book had me laughing out loud in spots, and swooning in others. It even had me crying-more than once. From the very first sentence I was sucked in. Nicole charmed me immediately-I adored her. I GOT her. I thought she was funny and sweet. She's a strong woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. Her support system is great-both family and friends-and I loved cheering her on as I read along. Ryder. Holy sexy Ryder. I was expecting to find him fun and to fall in love with him a bit but he stole my heart. He's funny and smart but there's this vulnerable side I didn't see coming. Watching him evolve personally was incredible. He had me swooning and sighing. Now these two together? Prepare for your kindle to melt. The spark between them quickly becomes an inferno. Their first kiss is going down as one of my top five first kisses ever written-it's that good. But it's not all heat between them. Don't get me wrong, the sexy times are fantastic, but it's the relationship these two begin to unintentionally craft that had me grinning. Crazy fun dates, sweet little moments. The situation these two choose to put themselves in is tricky-and the author shows the balance they need to have perfectly. I haven't found another author who portrays the reality of a relationship as well as Lauren Blakely does. I *have* to mention the supporting cast of characters here. If you've read any of this author's other books be prepared to see some past characters make an appearance. I loved seeing these characters (even if they were just briefly mentioned) and catching up with them. I literally danced in my chair when my all time favorite Lauren Blakely hero made a cameo appearance. Don't worry-If you haven't read other books it's ok-this IS a standalone. I'd rate this book higher than five stars if I possibly could. It's just that incredible. This is a book I will read over and over. It has everything-humor, heart and heat. The characters are sexy and fun and real. Ms. Blakely has shown again why she is an immediate one click author for me and I eagerly look forward to her next book. I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan.

Pure fun!!

Pure fun!! That is a Lauren Blakely book. I really do not know how many different ways that I can say "I Loved The Knocked Up Plan"! Excellent writing, well-developed characters, new and recurring characters that you just totally enjoying reading about. A woman who does not think that she is capable of love wants a baby. So she asks her very handsome coworker who possesses many many other perfect characteristics to be her baby daddy. Her coworker asks a favor of her as well. He has a work project so together they agree to help each other out. Here comes the fun. Lots and lots of fun. Like all Lauren Blakely books, you have super swoon-worthy guys, strong yet feminine women who together make for a great story and a great escape into Lauren's world. Totally recommend The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Ryder Lockhart and Nicole Powers The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely Lauren has delivered another bundle of joy for her readers. The Knocked Up Plan is a fun read that left this reader with a warm heart and a need to have a tissue box handy. This is not a sappy chick flick kind of book but there are moments when I just couldn’t help feeling sad for Nicole. I must also tell you I spent much of the time laughing. There were also moments when you wanted to smack them upside the head and say WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!! This is the first book that I have shared the plot to and read some of the lines out loud to my husband. I would be sitting there chuckling and he would ask what was so funny and I would read the passage. Let me tell you he just looked at me with a confused look on his face and didn’t even crack a smile. He has no clue why I continue to read these books (shhhh being male and all he doesn’t understand the NEED to read). We get to meet Nicole when she is going to tell her friends she has decided to have a child. It is the one thing she wants more than anything and she is going to do it on her own. She works for Hanky Panky Love (hahaha love this name), the dating division of media company. She writes a column and has a radio show on giving advice to women about sex and dating. Ryder Lockhart works for the same company any Nicole and they have been friends for the year he has worked there. Ryder does the same thing as Nicole only for men. He was married but is not divorced. His ex-wife had many affairs and was a sex addict. We get to learn how he found out and what went through his head during that time. Ryder is the type of man we all wish we can find. He takes his vows seriously so he felt very betrayed when he found out about her cheating. Divorce was his only option. Nicole believe she is broken because she has not found love and believes she isn’t capable of feeling that way for a man. Ryder doesn’t want to put his heart on the line again because he doesn’t want to get hurt. What happens when these two decide to work together to reach a common goal? You are going to have to read to find out. As a reader you almost dread picking up a romance book because they are all the same—find love; loose love; make up. Not in Lauren books. Her writing style is fun and flow seamlessly. It is fun to read text conversations between the characters; get to read what is going on in the character’s head or read their top 5 lists to decide how to proceed next. A lot of time the characters are on the same page and don’t even know it. The complexity of the story line seems to flow naturally through the pages and keeps the reader interested.

My Favorite Lauren Blakely Book!!

4.5☆ The Knocked Up Plan has now become my favorite Lauren Blakely book. I wasn't sure how much I would like Nicole based on the other books, but I thought she was a very well written character. She's an outgoing and determined woman who knows what she wants and decides to go for it, even if it isn't the norm. I loved Ryder! He's such a nice, caring guy and I really enjoyed reading about him. I loved seeing how his attitude about love changed throughout the book. I was very pleased that this was a dual perspective book. A lot would be lost if it would have only been from Ryder's POV. I love Ryder and Nicole's relationship and how they manage everything along the way. The storyline was different, definitely interesting, and of course funny!

I adored The Knocked Up Plan! The whole storyline is so much fun and super unique! I loved Ryder and Nicole and their very odd way of getting together. They get along very well and mesh quite well outside the bedroom. Inside is super steamy baby making! Omg....I loved this book! And not just any regular-type love that I have for all of Lauren's books, but a wholehearted, all-encompassing, bona fide LOVE!! The Knocked Up Plan's title is 100% catchy, and the uniqueness of the story line keeps you intrigued the entire time. Factor in the incredible writing and a def-con swoon level of about a million, and this book is a trip to romance paradise! "And I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'm in love with the mother of my child." I literally got goosebumps from reading that line. A slow shiver ran through me, and I was a complete goner over the book! The romance and passion will no doubt get your heart racing, but the compassion, emotions, and insecurities hit your right in the feels when you least expect it. The character development, and comedic interactions and dialogue truly showcases The Knocked Up Plan's entertainment aspects. Hopes and dreams

Ryder and Nicole are relationship experts until it comes to their own. Nicole wants a baby and wants Ryder to be the sperm donor without obligations and future responsibilities. The Knocked Up Plan is a sweet romance. With lots of Sexy Times.  Ryder and Nicole are co-workers. With their own radio shows. There’s one thing that Nicole wants and has always wanted. A baby! She doesn’t feel that she will never feel what it’s like, to be truly in love. So she comes out with a plan, a plan that doesn’t go as expected.  This to me had a different feel to it. The two characters really didn’t have that magnetic pull, that I'm used too, with Lauren’s characters. But I did highly enjoy it. You kind of know in the beginning where it will all lead. Because you can’t just not fall in love with someone and spend so much time with them. Overall, I give this Four Boundless Stars. It was an enjoyable fun romance.

We've seen her running with the other girls and their dogs. She is the one that was always touted as the relationship expert, but never believed that finding 'the one' was for her. We finally get to learn more about Nicole and why she is the way she is. She hosts a radio show called Hanky Panky Love. Ryder hosts his own show for the same media giant as Lauren. The two of them have been friends for quite a while, so when Lauren poses a request of her friend, they are both caught off guard. I absolutely love the interactions between ALL of the characters in this story. The relationships that Lauren has cultivated with her besties (and even the daughter of one) is beautiful. You guys really don't want to miss this one! I absolutely ADORED it. Favorite quotes - - "...I had the harebrained idea to ask my co-worker for a cup of baby batter." I don't know how the woman does it!! How Blakely can take a super sweet and endearing story and make it dirty and sexy all at the same time. But she does, and it's golden! The perfect story! I've read just about every book by Blakely and each time I think 'This one. This one is my favorite.' And then she releases a new one and that one becomes my favorite too. Lol. Her books are so hard to choose from when asked 'what is your favorite Lauren Blakely book?' because I honestly love them all. The story lines are always different, the characters are always relatable, the banter between the characters is always witty, sexy and fun and they usually always pull at my heart strings. But this book you guys, it really is ranked at the tippity top of my favorite Blakely book pile. Nicole is so sweet, I just love her! She's independent and knows what she wants, and she doesn't need a man to get it. Well, ok, she kinda does need a man....or at least something from a man to achieve her ultimate goal, a baby. She's fully ready to do it alone, go to a sperm bank and get what she's always wanted. But, she starts thinking about what if she had the perfect donor within reach? Someone she knows who is 'the perfect specimen'?. She just has to muster up the courage to ask, and see what he says. Ryder....oh how I love Ryder! He's sexy, funny, sweet, romantic and really a great guy even though he feels jaded by his ex-wife. And he has ever right to feel that way, considering. But his ex-wife's loss is someone else's gain right? *wink* **Once I’m under his kissing spell, he parts my lips, opens my mouth, and tangles his tongue with mine. Softly, I moan into his mouth. A shudder runs through my body, and everything goes hazy. My brain sends the message to swoon, just swoon. That’s how he kisses me. But he doesn’t stop there. For the second act, he kisses deeper, harder, with a hint of what he’ll do to me later. A little rough. A little greedy. All manly. My knees go weak. Seriously, that was HAWTT! Love a good kissing scene! They have so many super hot times and some really sweet ones too! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you will definitely swoon with this book....I promise you that! Happy Tears

Lauren Blakely, is one gifted author. I have never read one book of hers I haven't fallen in love with the male character, and this one is no different. I loved it from beginning to end. If your looking for an awesome unexpected Love Story, you've found the right book. You will laugh, uncontrollably. Plan on a bit of anxiety waiting for them to figure things out. But have a box of Kleenex close by for those happy tears when thy do.

Fantastic! This is one of the best romances I've read. It is simple in nature with fun, realistic characters and a storyline filled with all kinds of love leading to a true and everlasting love. Nicole and Ryder are excellent characters that you can easily relate to. They're smart, funny, respectful and romantic (even if they don't realize it). Everything about them just works, the sex, the dates and the baby. I absolutely believe this is a must read for anyone who loves a true love romance. It's a don't miss read. Blakely remains the guru of romantic comedies!

Once again, I bow down to the greatness of Lauren Blakely’s comedic writing prowess and her ability to craft realistic and complex characters who traverse the modern dating world with a plethora of hang-ups and cynical attitudes. And, in her newest release, The Knocked Up Plan, Blakely constructs her story around two characters who are considered “dating gurus;” a hero and heroine who serve as life coaches to their radio and newspaper audiences, offering “dating, mating, and cohabitating” advice in order for their listeners to have a chance at a happily ever after in contemporary society. What’s most interesting about these romance instructors is that they don’t practice what they preach…for Nicole, it’s because she feels defective when it comes to giving her heart to someone, and for Ryder, it’s because he gave his heart to the wrong person who then proceeded to destroy every romantic notion he ever had when it came to his own love life. But despite their personal love issues, Nicole and Ryder join forces for “Project Bun in the Oven,” which means that as Ryder works to get his wingman mojo back by constructing a field guide to dating, Nicole and Ryder take a ride on the “baby-making train” allowing Nicole to get her heart’s desire and Ryder to “walk the walk” and “talk the talk” when it comes to winning the right woman’s heart, making his boss happy and perhaps re-educating himself about romance and intimacy. I absolutely adored Nicole and Ryder’s story. I truly believe that Blakely should create the Consummate Guide to writing Romantic Comedies because she definitely knows how to deliver a hilarious story that is both sweet and sensual, humorous and heartfelt, as well as witty and a bit dramatic. I just have to get this out of the way first...*swoon* Lauren F- Blakely never disappoints. With every book I fall in love even more with her writing and her characters. Ryder is definitely in my Top 5 Blakely Men list. And Nicole is up there for one of my favorite heroines. Together...they are everything and more. Two dating radio show hosts. One as given up on finding the one. The other thought he found the one and got burned. He doesn't want that again. So when his sexy co-worker explains what she wants most in life, he is willing to give it. A baby. No expectations. No future daddy duties. She just wants his swimmers. But, he has one condition. They create it the old fashioned way. Nicole has no problem signing on the dotted line. It's not the first time she thought about what sex would be like with him. You could feel it between them. And as they got to know each other it just got deeper and deeper. They are one of those couples that I won't ever forget. Overall...it's one of those books that you don't want to end. But at the same time you want to know how it will end. It's a fun, sexy, sweet, and emotional story. Lauren Blakely books just flat out make me happy. Everything she writes brings me pure joy. The smile on my face currently is a direct result of The Knocked Up Plan. I absolutely LOVED this book! Nicole wants to have a baby. Alone. She just needs to find the perfect donor. She’s looking for someone who is college educated, handsome, and obviously not a serial killer. Enter Ryder, her sexy coworker. He’s perfect. Meets all her criteria and more importantly he’s not looking for a relationship. They strike up a deal where Nicole helps Ryder with a work project in return for his “cupcakes.” The baby making fun ensues and feelings develop. I am pretty much obsessed with Ryder and Nicole’s relationship. Their friendship evolved over the months of arrangement into something strong and passionate. They connect so well because they are both genuinely good people with shared interest and off the charts chemistry. I mean, they are seriously perfect for each other. Oh and their kisses and embraces are smoking hot. I just adored them. From the very first page, I just knew I was going to love Nicole. Her wit, determination and caring nature won me over immediately. I love a strong woman who goes after what she wants. That is one of Lauren Blakely’s strong suits. She never creates a weak woman. Ryder has made it onto my favorite Blakely Boy list. Swoon. That man and his ovaries exploding charm is everything you need in a hero. Betrayed in a previous relationship, it is not hard to understand why he sought out to remain single and unattached. Even though he is a confirmed commitment-phobe, he wasn’t a manwhore. Loved that. He’s such a great guy and I really really fell for him. If you are a fan of great romantic comedies with sweetness, great characters, heat, and a unique and refreshing plot line, I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan. Time and time again, this author knocks it out of the park. She never disappoints.

There is so much to love about this friends to lovers romance! It is hilarious, hot & steamy and a new sexy alpha hero that you can't help but fall in love with. Ryder is a successful author who helps men find the woman of their dreams. Since the breakup of his marriage he has lost his faith in the HEA. His boss is forcing him to find his romantic side again and come up with a dating guide. Ryder is at a loss at where to start. His sexy coworker and ping pong partner, Nicole, believes she isn't made for love. She does feel her clock ticking and wants to have a baby tho. Handsome, smart, funny, Ryder has the perfect attributes to be the potential father. They come to an agreement to help each other out. But as they spend more time together going on the perfect dates and then trying to make a baby, their attraction grows. Will they be able to walk away when their 'projects' are completed without breaking their hearts and remain friends? I loved Ryder and Nicole together, their banter was witty, and their chemistry was explosive. They also complimented each other, feeling like two halves of a whole, completing each other. We were treated to cameos from characters from previous books which is always fun. There are also some intriguing twin brothers that I hope to read more about soon. I highly recommend this heartfelt, smart, funny, sweet and sexy romance!

Terrific, fun read from a talented author!

This charming tale of Nicole and Ryder draws you in from the first page. Nicole, a radio talk show host, expert on love and relationships, has never been in love. As a strong, independent woman, she decides she doesn’t need a man, but wants to have a baby alone. Ryder, a hot-as-sin colleague, works at the same station and has all the attributes she wants in a donor. Though the storyline is somewhat predictable, the writing is crisp and quick, the characters are extremely likable, their chemistry is hot, banter is delightful and I couldn’t help wishing for them to find their happily ever after. The Knocked Up Plan is a terrific read from this very talented author.

Scrumptious!

This book is absolutely scrumptious in every way! I love being able to experience the story from both Ryder and the Nicole's point of view because while I might intrinsically know what a woman is thinking I usually have no idea what men are thinking and the insight really enhances the storyline for me. Lauren writes the most entertaining sexual innuendo between her characters and all that dirty-talking flirtation sets the scene for panty-melting sex scenes that are really HOT but never cross the line into vulgarity which is a real turn-off for me. And, last but not least, what could be sexier than a baby daddy who adores the changes pregnancy brings to a woman's body and is humbled by the sight of his child on an ultrasound screen? OMG! My extremely happy heart melted all over the floor at the end of this happily-ever-after that is one of Lauren's best books to date. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

Once again, Lauren gave a story that was sweet, hot, and entertaining. I truly enjoyed every moment as I was reading and couldn’t get enough of it. Ryder and Nicole were such great characters. And these two together were fantastic. So perfect and explosive. I laughed, smiled, and swooned. The premise of the story is in the blurb but there is so much more to it than just having a baby. The feels in this story was overwhelming. A beautiful fun romantic story that will definitely have the reader smiling at the end. Lauren always knows how to give a charming light read. In this masterpiece you will find bold easy to like characters who are never afraid to put themselves out there. Lauren was brilliant in how she intertwined this story with the careers of Nicole and Ryder. While you may sniffle time to time you will laugh as much from the quick quips out of the good-hearted friends and family that surround them as well as the two who seemed to have done their homework to be knowledgeable on what they want. I cannot fathom how Lauren Blakely continues to pen stories that are heartwarming, hilarious and hot all wrapped up in a perfect package! But she does and thank goodness for that! Nicole and Ryder are faced with a serious decision and a real-life problem...and they tackle it for sure! I love how this story is from both POVs so you can get a full picture of this adventure! I'm always a fan of Lauren Blakely's work-her writing is my kryptonite. When I see her books on my kindle they immediately move to the top of my TBR list-and I devour them. I try to savor...but I just can't. The concept this particular book sounded so different that I was dying to get my hands on it. I wanted to see the journey these two took. As I've come to expect from Ms. Blakely this book had me laughing out loud in spots, and swooning in others. It even had me crying-more than once. From the very first sentence I was sucked in. Nicole charmed me immediately-I adored her. I GOT her. I thought she was funny and sweet. She's a strong woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. Her support system is great-both family and friends-and I loved cheering her on as I read along. Ryder. Holy sexy Ryder. I was expecting to find him fun and to fall in love with him a bit but he stole my heart. He's funny and smart but there's this vulnerable side I didn't see coming. Watching him evolve personally was incredible. He had me swooning and sighing. Now these two together? Prepare for your kindle to melt. The spark between them quickly becomes an inferno. Their first kiss is going down as one of my top five first kisses ever written-it's that good. But it's not all heat between them. Don't get me wrong, the sexy times are fantastic, but it's the relationship these two begin to unintentionally craft that had me grinning. Crazy fun dates, sweet little moments. The situation these two choose to put themselves in is tricky-and the author shows the balance they need to have perfectly. I haven't found another author who portrays the reality of a relationship as well as Lauren Blakely does. I *have* to mention the supporting cast of characters here. If you've read any of this author's other books be prepared to see some past characters make an appearance. I loved seeing these characters (even if they were just briefly mentioned) and catching up with them. I literally danced in my chair when my all time favorite Lauren Blakely hero made a cameo appearance. Don't worry-If you haven't read other books it's ok-this IS a standalone. I'd rate this book higher than five stars if I possibly could. It's just that incredible. This is a book I will read over and over. It has everything-humor, heart and heat. The characters are sexy and fun and real. Ms. Blakely has shown again why she is an immediate one click author for me and I eagerly look forward to her next book. I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan.

Pure fun!!

Pure fun!! That is a Lauren Blakely book. I really do not know how many different ways that I can say "I Loved The Knocked Up Plan"! Excellent writing, well-developed characters, new and recurring characters that you just totally enjoying reading about. A woman who does not think that she is capable of love wants a baby. So she asks her very handsome coworker who possesses many many other perfect characteristics to be her baby daddy. Her coworker asks a favor of her as well. He has a work project so together they agree to help each other out. Here comes the fun. Lots and lots of fun. Like all Lauren Blakely books, you have super swoon-worthy guys, strong yet feminine women who together make for a great story and a great escape into Lauren's world. Ryder Lockhart and Nicole Powers The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely Lauren has delivered another bundle of joy for her readers. The Knocked Up Plan is a fun read that left this reader with a warm heart and a need to have a tissue box handy. This is not a sappy chick flick kind of book but there are moments when I just couldn’t help feeling sad for Nicole. I must also tell you I spent much of the time laughing. There were also moments when you wanted to smack them upside the head and say WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!! This is the first book that I have shared the plot to and read some of the lines out loud to my husband. I would be sitting there chuckling and he would ask what was so funny and I would read the passage. Let me tell you he just looked at me with a confused look on his face and didn’t even crack a smile. He has no clue why I continue to read these books (shhhh being male and all he doesn’t understand the NEED to read). We get to meet Nicole when she is going to tell her friends she has decided to have a child. It is the one thing she wants more than anything and she is going to do it on her own. She works for Hanky Panky Love (hahaha love this name), the dating division of media company. She writes a column and has a radio show on giving advice to women about sex and dating. Ryder Lockhart works for the same company any Nicole and they have been friends for the year he has worked there. Ryder does the same thing as Nicole only for men. He was married but is not divorced. His ex-wife had many affairs and was a sex addict. We get to learn how he found out and what went through his head during that time. Ryder is the type of man we all wish we can find. He takes his vows seriously so he felt very betrayed when he found out about her cheating. Divorce was his only option. Nicole believe she is broken because she has not found love and believes she isn’t capable of feeling that way for a man. Ryder doesn’t want to put his heart on the line again because he doesn’t want to get hurt. What happens when these two decide to work together to reach a common goal? You are going to have to read to find out. As a reader you almost dread picking up a romance book because they are all the same—find love; loose love; make up. Not in Lauren books. Her writing style is fun and flow seamlessly. It is fun to read text conversations between the characters; get to read what is going on in the character’s head or read their top 5 lists to decide how to proceed next. A lot of time the characters are on the same page and don’t even know it. The complexity of the story line seems to flow naturally through the pages and keeps the reader interested.

My Favorite Lauren Blakely Book!!

4.5☆ The Knocked Up Plan has now become my favorite Lauren Blakely book. I wasn't sure how much I would like Nicole based on the other books, but I thought she was a very well written character. She's an outgoing and determined woman who knows what she wants and decides to go for it, even if it isn't the norm. I loved Ryder! He's such a nice, caring guy and I really enjoyed reading about him. I loved seeing how his attitude about love changed throughout the book. I was very pleased that this was a dual perspective book. A lot would be lost if it would have only been from Ryder's POV. I love Ryder and Nicole's relationship and how they manage everything along the way. The storyline was different, definitely interesting, and of course funny!

Lauren Blakely, she has never done me wrong. I adore every single one of her books. The Knocked Up Plan was something I was not expecting but I’ve got to say, in my eyes, this is her best work yet. Nicole is a single, professional woman whose biological clock is ticking. Loudly. She is looking for the perfect specimen to father her baby, no strings attached. Nicole just wants a donor and she thinks she’s found that in Ryder, her co-worker. He’s sweet, smart and his DNA would be top notch. Ryder IS the epitome of the perfect man. Sexy, smart, genuine, but he’s also a man burned by his ex-wife. He was completely blindsided by her and the surprises that came along with her secrets. Ryder just wants to put it all in the past and move on with his life. He enjoys his work and enjoys spending time with his co-worker, Nicole. When Ryder needs to take his radio show in a different direction, taking a woman out on a few dates seems to be the way to go. And who other than Nicole to be that perfect person to help save his career! She wants a baby, he wants a few dates to save his career. What could possibly go wrong?? I was so impressed with the characters and how they were with each other. Ryder and Nicole were truly friends first before everything else came along and I enjoyed that aspect of their relationship. There were no games, no silliness, just straight forward talk and understanding. And at the end of the book when Ryder let Nicole know exactly how he really felt? It was THE best part of the book. LOVE! -Love Book Triangle

I adored The Knocked Up Plan! The whole storyline is so much fun and super unique! I loved Ryder and Nicole and their very odd way of getting together. They get along very well and mesh quite well outside the bedroom. Inside is super steamy baby making! I enjoyed their journey to finding who they were to one another and loved the sweet side to the story. I could not put this book down! I highly recommend any romance reader check this book out!

A trip to romance paradise!

Omg....I loved this book! And not just any regular-type love that I have for all of Lauren's books, but a wholehearted, all-encompassing, bona fide LOVE!! The Knocked Up Plan's title is 100% catchy, and the uniqueness of the story line keeps you intrigued the entire time. Factor in the incredible writing and a def-con swoon level of about a million, and this book is a trip to romance paradise! "And I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'm in love with the mother of my child." I literally got goosebumps from reading that line. A slow shiver ran through me, and I was a complete goner over the book! The romance and passion will no doubt get your heart racing, but the compassion, emotions, and insecurities hit your right in the feels when you least expect it. The character development, and comedic interactions and dialogue truly showcases The Knocked Up Plan's entertainment aspects. The Knocked Up Plan is a genuine and heartfelt, friends-to-lovers romance that will make you beg for more!

Ryder and Nicole are relationship experts until it comes to their own. Nicole wants a baby and wants Ryder to be the sperm donor without obligations and future responsibilities. Ryder likes the idea because he is not interested in any responsibility or relationship, but he wants to do things his way. I love this couple so much.

The Knocked Up Plan is a sweet romance. With lots of Sexy Times.  Ryder and Nicole are co-workers. With their own radio shows. There’s one thing that Nicole wants and has always wanted. A baby! She doesn’t feel that she will never feel what it’s like, to be truly in love. So she comes out with a plan, a plan that doesn’t go as expected.  This to me had a different feel to it. The two characters really didn’t have that magnetic pull, that I'm used too, with Lauren’s characters. But I did highly enjoy it. You kind of know in the beginning where it will all lead. Because you can’t just not fall in love with someone and spend so much time with them. Overall, I give this Four Boundless Stars. It was an enjoyable fun romance.

A Review of The Knocked Up Plan (was The Wild One) by Lauren Blakely A tadpole, a woman, and a ring - 5+++++ stars If you've read any of Lauren's recent books, you will have already met Nicole. We've seen her running with the other girls and their dogs. She is the one that was always touted as the relationship expert, but never believed that finding 'the one' was for her. We finally get to learn more about Nicole and why she is the way she is. She hosts a radio show called Hanky Panky Love. Ryder hosts his own show for the same media giant as Lauren. The two of them have been friends for quite a while, so when Lauren poses a request of her friend, they are both caught off guard. I absolutely love the interactions between ALL of the characters in this story. The relationships that Lauren has cultivated with her besties (and even the daughter of one) is beautiful. You guys really don't want to miss this one! I absolutely ADORED it. Favorite quotes - - "...I had the harebrained idea to ask my co-worker for a cup of baby batter." I absolutely loved Ryder and Nicole's story!

I don't know how the woman does it!! How Blakely can take a super sweet and endearing story and make it dirty and sexy all at the same time. But she does, and it's golden! The perfect story! I've read just about every book by Blakely and each time I think 'This one. This one is my favorite.' And then she releases a new one and that one becomes my favorite too. Lol. Her books are so hard to choose from when asked 'what is your favorite Lauren Blakely book?' because I honestly love them all. The story lines are always different, the characters are always relatable, the banter between the characters is always witty, sexy and fun and they usually always pull at my heart strings. But this book you guys, it really is ranked at the tippity top of my favorite Blakely book pile. Nicole is so sweet, I just love her! She's independent and knows what she wants, and she doesn't need a man to get it. Well, ok, she kinda does need a man....or at least something from a man to achieve her ultimate goal, a baby. She's fully ready to do it alone, go to a sperm bank and get what she's always wanted. But, she starts thinking about what if she had the perfect donor within reach? Someone she knows who is 'the perfect specimen'?. She just has to muster up the courage to ask, and see what he says. Ryder....oh how I love Ryder! He's sexy, funny, sweet, romantic and really a great guy even though he feels jaded by his ex-wife. And he has ever right to feel that way, considering. But his ex-wife's loss is someone else's gain right? *wink* **Once I’m under his kissing spell, he parts my lips, opens my mouth, and tangles his tongue with mine. Softly, I moan into his mouth. Lauren Blakely, is one gifted author. I have never read one book of hers I haven't fallen in love with the male character, and this one is no different. I loved it from beginning to end. Fantastic! This is one of the best romances I've read. It is simple in nature with fun, realistic characters and a storyline filled with all kinds of love leading to a true and everlasting love. Nicole and Ryder are excellent characters that you can easily relate to. They're smart, funny, respectful and romantic (even if they don't realize it). Everything about them just works, the sex, the dates and the baby. I absolutely believe this is a must read for anyone who loves a true love romance. It's a don't miss read. Once again, I bow down to the greatness of Lauren Blakely’s comedic writing prowess and her ability to craft realistic and complex characters who traverse the modern dating world with a plethora of hang-ups and cynical attitudes. And, in her newest release, The Knocked Up Plan, Blakely constructs her story around two characters who are considered “dating gurus;” a hero and heroine who serve as life coaches to their radio and newspaper audiences, offering “dating, mating, and cohabitating” advice in order for their listeners to have a chance at a happily ever after in contemporary society. What’s most interesting about these romance instructors is that they don’t practice what they preach…for Nicole, it’s because she feels defective when it comes to giving her heart to someone, and for Ryder, it’s because he gave his heart to the wrong person who then proceeded to destroy every romantic notion he ever had when it came to his own love life. I just have to get this out of the way first...*swoon* Lauren F- Blakely never disappoints. With every book I fall in love even more with her writing and her characters. Ryder is definitely in my Top 5 Blakely Men list. And Nicole is up there for one of my favorite heroines. Together...they are everything and more. Two dating radio show hosts. One as given up on finding the one. The other thought he found the one and got burned. He doesn't want that again. Her wit, determination and caring nature won me over immediately. I love a strong woman who goes after what she wants. That is one of Lauren Blakely’s strong suits. She never creates a weak woman. Ryder has made it onto my favorite Blakely Boy list. Swoon. That man and his ovaries exploding charm is everything you need in a hero. Betrayed in a previous relationship, it is not hard to understand why he sought out to remain single and unattached. Even though he is a confirmed commitment-phobe, he wasn’t a manwhore. Loved that. He’s such a great guy and I really really fell for him. If you are a fan of great romantic comedies with sweetness, great characters, heat, and a unique and refreshing plot line, I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan. There is so much to love about this friends to lovers romance! It is hilarious, hot & steamy and a new sexy alpha hero that you can't help but fall in love with. Ryder is a successful author who helps men find the woman of their dreams. Since the breakup of his marriage he has lost his faith in the HEA. His boss is forcing him to find his romantic side again and come up with a dating guide. Ryder is at a loss at where to start. His sexy coworker and ping pong partner, Nicole, believes she isn't made for love. She does feel her clock ticking and wants to have a baby tho. Handsome, smart, funny, Ryder has the perfect attributes to be the potential father. They come to an agreement to help each other out. But as they spend more time together going on the perfect dates and then trying to make a baby, their attraction grows. We were treated to cameos from characters from previous books which is always fun. There are also some intriguing twin brothers that I hope to read more about soon. This charming tale of Nicole and Ryder draws you in from the first page. Nicole, a radio talk show host, expert on love and relationships, has never been in love. As a strong, independent woman, she decides she doesn’t need a man, but wants to have a baby alone. Ryder, a hot-as-sin colleague, works at the same station and has all the attributes she wants in a donor. Though the storyline is somewhat predictable, the writing is crisp and quick, the characters are extremely likable, their chemistry is hot, banter is delightful and I couldn’t help wishing for them to find their happily ever after. The Knocked Up Plan is a terrific read from this very talented author.

Scrumptious!

This book is absolutely scrumptious in every way! I love being able to experience the story from both Ryder and the Nicole's point of view because while I might intrinsically know what a woman is thinking I usually have no idea what men are thinking and the insight really enhances the storyline for me. Lauren writes the most entertaining sexual innuendo between her characters and all that dirty-talking flirtation sets the scene for panty-melting sex scenes that are really HOT but never cross the line into vulgarity which is a real turn-off for me. And, last but not least, what could be sexier than a baby daddy who adores the changes pregnancy brings to a woman's body and is humbled by the sight of his child on an ultrasound screen? OMG! My extremely happy heart melted all over the floor at the end of this happily-ever-after that is one of Lauren's best books to date. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

Once again, Lauren gave a story that was sweet, hot, and entertaining. I truly enjoyed every moment as I was reading and couldn’t get enough of it. Ryder and Nicole were such great characters. And these two together were fantastic. So perfect and explosive. I laughed, smiled, and swooned. The premise of the story is in the blurb but there is so much more to it than just having a baby. The feels in this story was overwhelming. A beautiful fun romantic story that will definitely have the reader smiling at the end. Lauren always knows how to give a charming light read. In this masterpiece you will find bold easy to like characters who are never afraid to put themselves out there. Lauren was brilliant in how she intertwined this story with the careers of Nicole and Ryder. While you may sniffle time to time you will laugh as much from the quick quips out of the good-hearted friends and family that surround them as well as the two who seemed to have done their homework to be knowledgeable on what they want. Obviously plenty of sex! Love how the plan unfolded! Great read!!

I do not even have to start to think about how I want to write this review because I simply adored this book so very much! I cannot fathom how Lauren Blakely continues to pen stories that are heartwarming, hilarious and hot all wrapped up in a perfect package! But she does and thank goodness for that! Nicole and Ryder are faced with a serious decision and a real-life problem...and they tackle it for sure! I love how this story is from both POVs so you can get a full picture of this adventure! If you're looking for romance, fun, surprises and "cupcakes" this book is for you!

I'm always a fan of Lauren Blakely's work-her writing is my kryptonite. When I see her books on my kindle they immediately move to the top of my TBR list-and I devour them. I try to savor...but I just can't. The concept this particular book sounded so different that I was dying to get my hands on it. I wanted to see the journey these two took. As I've come to expect from Ms. Blakely this book had me laughing out loud in spots, and swooning in others. It even had me crying-more than once. From the very first sentence I was sucked in. Nicole charmed me immediately-I adored her. I GOT her. I thought she was funny and sweet. She's a strong woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. Her support system is great-both family and friends-and I loved cheering her on as I read along. Ryder. Holy sexy Ryder. I was expecting to find him fun and to fall in love with him a bit but he stole my heart. He's funny and smart but there's this vulnerable side I didn't see coming. Watching him evolve personally was incredible. He had me swooning and sighing. Now these two together? Prepare for your kindle to melt. The spark between them quickly becomes an inferno. Their first kiss is going down as one of my top five first kisses ever written-it's that good. But it's not all heat between them. Don't get me wrong, the sexy times are fantastic, but it's the relationship these two begin to unintentionally craft that had me grinning. Crazy fun dates, sweet little moments. The situation these two choose to put themselves in is tricky-and the author shows the balance they need to have perfectly. I haven't found another author who portrays the reality of a relationship as well as Lauren Blakely does. I *have* to mention the supporting cast of characters here. If you've read any of this author's other books be prepared to see some past characters make an appearance. I loved seeing these characters (even if they were just briefly mentioned) and catching up with them. I literally danced in my chair when my all time favorite Lauren Blakely hero made a cameo appearance. Don't worry-If you haven't read other books it's ok-this IS a standalone. I'd rate this book higher than five stars if I possibly could. It's just that incredible. This is a book I will read over and over. It has everything-humor, heart and heat. The characters are sexy and fun and real. Ms. Blakely has shown again why she is an immediate one click author for me and I eagerly look forward to her next book. I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan.

Pure fun!!

Pure fun!! That is a Lauren Blakely book. I really do not know how many different ways that I can say "I Loved The Knocked Up Plan"! Excellent writing, well-developed characters, new and recurring characters that you just totally enjoying reading about. A woman who does not think that she is capable of love wants a baby. So she asks her very handsome coworker who possesses many many other perfect characteristics to be her baby daddy. Her coworker asks a favor of her as well. He has a work project so together they agree to help each other out. Here comes the fun. Lots and lots of fun. Like all Lauren Blakely books, you have super swoon-worthy guys, strong yet feminine women who together make for a great story and a great escape into Lauren's world. Totally recommend The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Ryder Lockhart and Nicole Powers The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely Lauren has delivered another bundle of joy for her readers. The Knocked Up Plan is a fun read that left this reader with a warm heart and a need to have a tissue box handy. This is not a sappy chick flick kind of book but there are moments when I just couldn’t help feeling sad for Nicole. I must also tell you I spent much of the time laughing. There were also moments when you wanted to smack them upside the head and say WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!! This is the first book that I have shared the plot to and read some of the lines out loud to my husband. I would be sitting there chuckling and he would ask what was so funny and I would read the passage. Let me tell you he just looked at me with a confused look on his face and didn’t even crack a smile. He has no clue why I continue to read these books (shhhh being male and all he doesn’t understand the NEED to read). We get to meet Nicole when she is going to tell her friends she has decided to have a child. It is the one thing she wants more than anything and she is going to do it on her own. She works for Hanky Panky Love (hahaha love this name), the dating division of media company. She writes a column and has a radio show on giving advice to women about sex and dating. Ryder Lockhart works for the same company any Nicole and they have been friends for the year he has worked there. Ryder does the same thing as Nicole only for men. He was married but is not divorced. His ex-wife had many affairs and was a sex addict. We get to learn how he found out and what went through his head during that time. Ryder is the type of man we all wish we can find. He takes his vows seriously so he felt very betrayed when he found out about her cheating. Divorce was his only option. Nicole believe she is broken because she has not found love and believes she isn’t capable of feeling that way for a man. Ryder doesn’t want to put his heart on the line again because he doesn’t want to get hurt. What happens when these two decide to work together to reach a common goal? You are going to have to read to find out. As a reader you almost dread picking up a romance book because they are all the same—find love; loose love; make up. Not in Lauren books. Her writing style is fun and flow seamlessly. It is fun to read text conversations between the characters; get to read what is going on in the character’s head or read their top 5 lists to decide how to proceed next. A lot of time the characters are on the same page and don’t even know it. The complexity of the story line seems to flow naturally through the pages and keeps the reader interested.

My Favorite Lauren Blakely Book!!

4.5☆ The Knocked Up Plan has now become my favorite Lauren Blakely book. I wasn't sure how much I would like Nicole based on the other books, but I thought she was a very well written character. She's an outgoing and determined woman who knows what she wants and decides to go for it, even if it isn't the norm. I loved Ryder! He's such a nice, caring guy and I really enjoyed reading about him. I loved seeing how his attitude about love changed throughout the book. I was very pleased that this was a dual perspective book. A lot would be lost if it would have only been from Ryder's POV. I love Ryder and Nicole's relationship and how they manage everything along the way. The storyline was different, definitely interesting, and of course funny!

Lauren Blakely, she has never done me wrong. I adore every single one of her books. The Knocked Up Plan was something I was not expecting but I’ve got to say, in my eyes, this is her best work yet. I adored The Knocked Up Plan! The whole storyline is so much fun and super unique! I loved Ryder and Nicole and their very odd way of getting together. They get along very well and mesh quite well outside the bedroom. Inside is super steamy baby making! Omg....I loved this book! And not just any regular-type love that I have for all of Lauren's books, but a wholehearted, all-encompassing, bona fide LOVE!! The Knocked Up Plan's title is 100% catchy, and the uniqueness of the story line keeps you intrigued the entire time. Factor in the incredible writing and a def-con swoon level of about a million, and this book is a trip to romance paradise! "And I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'm in love with the mother of my child." I literally got goosebumps from reading that line. A slow shiver ran through me, and I was a complete goner over the book! The romance and passion will no doubt get your heart racing, but the compassion, emotions, and insecurities hit your right in the feels when you least expect it. The character development, and comedic interactions and dialogue truly showcases The Knocked Up Plan's entertainment aspects. The Knocked Up Plan is a genuine and heartfelt, friends-to-lovers romance that will make you beg for more!

Ryder and Nicole are relationship experts until it comes to their own. Nicole wants a baby and wants Ryder to be the sperm donor without obligations and future responsibilities. Ryder likes the idea because he is not interested in any responsibility or relationship, but he wants to do things his way. I love this couple so much.

The Knocked Up Plan is a sweet romance. With lots of Sexy Times.  Ryder and Nicole are co-workers. With their own radio shows. There’s one thing that Nicole wants and has always wanted. A baby! She doesn’t feel that she will never feel what it’s like, to be truly in love. So she comes out with a plan, a plan that doesn’t go as expected.  This to me had a different feel to it. The two characters really didn’t have that magnetic pull, that I'm used too, with Lauren’s characters. But I did highly enjoy it. You kind of know in the beginning where it will all lead. Because you can’t just not fall in love with someone and spend so much time with them. Overall, I give this Four Boundless Stars. It was an enjoyable fun romance.

A Review of The Knocked Up Plan (was The Wild One) by Lauren Blakely A tadpole, a woman, and a ring - 5+++++ stars If you've read any of Lauren's recent books, you will have already met Nicole. We've seen her running with the other girls and their dogs. She is the one that was always touted as the relationship expert, but never believed that finding 'the one' was for her. We finally get to learn more about Nicole and why she is the way she is. She hosts a radio show called Hanky Panky Love. Ryder hosts his own show for the same media giant as Lauren. The two of them have been friends for quite a while, so when Lauren poses a request of her friend, they are both caught off guard. I absolutely love the interactions between ALL of the characters in this story. The relationships that Lauren has cultivated with her besties (and even the daughter of one) is beautiful. You guys really don't want to miss this one! I absolutely ADORED it. Favorite quotes - - "...I had the harebrained idea to ask my co-worker for a cup of baby batter." I don't know how the woman does it!! How Blakely can take a super sweet and endearing story and make it dirty and sexy all at the same time. But she does, and it's golden! The perfect story! I've read just about every book by Blakely and each time I think 'This one. This one is my favorite.' And then she releases a new one and that one becomes my favorite too. Lol. Her books are so hard to choose from when asked 'what is your favorite Lauren Blakely book?' because I honestly love them all. The story lines are always different, the characters are always relatable, the banter between the characters is always witty, sexy and fun and they usually always pull at my heart strings. But this book you guys, it really is ranked at the tippity top of my favorite Blakely book pile. Nicole is so sweet, I just love her! She's independent and knows what she wants, and she doesn't need a man to get it. Well, ok, she kinda does need a man....or at least something from a man to achieve her ultimate goal, a baby. She's fully ready to do it alone, go to a sperm bank and get what she's always wanted. But, she starts thinking about what if she had the perfect donor within reach? Someone she knows who is 'the perfect specimen'?. She just has to muster up the courage to ask, and see what he says. Ryder....oh how I love Ryder! He's sexy, funny, sweet, romantic and really a great guy even though he feels jaded by his ex-wife. And he has ever right to feel that way, considering. But his ex-wife's loss is someone else's gain right? *wink* **Once I’m under his kissing spell, he parts my lips, opens my mouth, and tangles his tongue with mine. Softly, I moan into his mouth. Lauren Blakely, is one gifted author. I have never read one book of hers I haven't fallen in love with the male character, and this one is no different. I loved it from beginning to end. Fantastic! This is one of the best romances I've read. It is simple in nature with fun, realistic characters and a storyline filled with all kinds of love leading to a true and everlasting love. Nicole and Ryder are excellent characters that you can easily relate to. They're smart, funny, respectful and romantic (even if they don't realize it). Everything about them just works, the sex, the dates and the baby. I absolutely believe this is a must read for anyone who loves a true love romance. It's a don't miss read. Once again, I bow down to the greatness of Lauren Blakely’s comedic writing prowess and her ability to craft realistic and complex characters who traverse the modern dating world with a plethora of hang-ups and cynical attitudes. And, in her newest release, The Knocked Up Plan, Blakely constructs her story around two characters who are considered “dating gurus;” a hero and heroine who serve as life coaches to their radio and newspaper audiences, offering “dating, mating, and cohabitating” advice in order for their listeners to have a chance at a happily ever after in contemporary society. What’s most interesting about these romance instructors is that they don’t practice what they preach…for Nicole, it’s because she feels defective when it comes to giving her heart to someone, and for Ryder, it’s because he gave his heart to the wrong person who then proceeded to destroy every romantic notion he ever had when it came to his own love life. But despite their personal love issues, Nicole and Ryder join forces for “Project Bun in the Oven,” which means that as Ryder works to get his wingman mojo back by constructing a field guide to dating, Nicole and Ryder take a ride on the “baby-making train” allowing Nicole to get her heart’s desire and Ryder to “walk the walk” and “talk the talk” when it comes to winning the right woman’s heart, making his boss happy and perhaps re-educating himself about romance and intimacy. I just have to get this out of the way first...*swoon* Lauren F- Blakely never disappoints. With every book I fall in love even more with her writing and her characters. Ryder is definitely in my Top 5 Blakely Men list. And Nicole is up there for one of my favorite heroines. Together...they are everything and more. Two dating radio show hosts. One as given up on finding the one. The other thought he found the one and got burned. He doesn't want that again. Betrayed in a previous relationship, it is not hard to understand why he sought out to remain single and unattached. Even though he is a confirmed commitment-phobe, he wasn’t a manwhore. Loved that. He’s such a great guy and I really really fell for him. If you are a fan of great romantic comedies with sweetness, great characters, heat, and a unique and refreshing plot line, I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan. Time and time again, this author knocks it out of the park. She never disappoints.

There is so much to love about this friends to lovers romance! It is hilarious, hot & steamy and a new sexy alpha hero that you can't help but fall in love with. Ryder is a successful author who helps men find the woman of their dreams. Since the breakup of his marriage he has lost his faith in the HEA. His boss is forcing him to find his romantic side again and come up with a dating guide. Ryder is at a loss at where to start. His sexy coworker and ping pong partner, Nicole, believes she isn't made for love. She does feel her clock ticking and wants to have a baby tho. Handsome, smart, funny, Ryder has the perfect attributes to be the potential father. They come to an agreement to help each other out. But as they spend more time together going on the perfect dates and then trying to make a baby, their attraction grows. I loved Ryder and Nicole together, their banter was witty, and their chemistry was explosive. They also complimented each other, feeling like two halves of a whole, completing each other. We were treated to cameos from characters from previous books which is always fun. There are also some intriguing twin brothers that I hope to read more about soon. I highly recommend this heartfelt, smart, funny, sweet and sexy romance!

Terrific, fun read from a talented author!

This charming tale of Nicole and Ryder draws you in from the first page. Nicole, a radio talk show host, expert on love and relationships, has never been in love. As a strong, independent woman, she decides she doesn’t need a man, but wants to have a baby alone. Ryder, a hot-as-sin colleague, works at the same station and has all the attributes she wants in a donor. Though the storyline is somewhat predictable, the writing is crisp and quick, the characters are extremely likable, their chemistry is hot, banter is delightful and I couldn’t help wishing for them to find their happily ever after. The Knocked Up Plan is a terrific read from this very talented author.

Scrumptious!

This book is absolutely scrumptious in every way! I love being able to experience the story from both Ryder and the Nicole's point of view because while I might intrinsically know what a woman is thinking I usually have no idea what men are thinking and the insight really enhances the storyline for me. Lauren writes the most entertaining sexual innuendo between her characters and all that dirty-talking flirtation sets the scene for panty-melting sex scenes that are really HOT but never cross the line into vulgarity which is a real turn-off for me. And, last but not least, what could be sexier than a baby daddy who adores the changes pregnancy brings to a woman's body and is humbled by the sight of his child on an ultrasound screen? OMG! My extremely happy heart melted all over the floor at the end of this happily-ever-after that is one of Lauren's best books to date. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

A heartfelt sweet story

Once again, Lauren gave a story that was sweet, hot, and entertaining. I truly enjoyed every moment as I was reading and couldn’t get enough of it. Ryder and Nicole were such great characters. And these two together were fantastic. So perfect and explosive. I laughed, smiled, and swooned. The premise of the story is in the blurb but there is so much more to it than just having a baby. The feels in this story was overwhelming. A beautiful fun romantic story that will definitely have the reader smiling at the end. Lauren always knows how to give a charming light read. Readers will enjoy this new addition to the sexy Blakely men and awesome women. An amazing read.

Lauren was brilliant in how she intertwined this story with the careers of Nicole and Ryder. While you may sniffle time to time you will laugh as much from the quick quips out of the good-hearted friends and family that surround them as well as the two who seemed to have done their homework to be knowledgeable on what they want. I cannot fathom how Lauren Blakely continues to pen stories that are heartwarming, hilarious and hot all wrapped up in a perfect package! But she does and thank goodness for that! Nicole and Ryder are faced with a serious decision and a real-life problem...and they tackle it for sure! I love how this story is from both POVs so you can get a full picture of this adventure! I'm always a fan of Lauren Blakely's work-her writing is my kryptonite. When I see her books on my kindle they immediately move to the top of my TBR list-and I devour them. I try to savor...but I just can't. The concept this particular book sounded so different that I was dying to get my hands on it. I wanted to see the journey these two took. As I've come to expect from Ms. Blakely this book had me laughing out loud in spots, and swooning in others. It even had me crying-more than once. From the very first sentence I was sucked in. Nicole charmed me immediately-I adored her. I GOT her. I thought she was funny and sweet. She's a strong woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. Her support system is great-both family and friends-and I loved cheering her on as I read along. Ryder. Holy sexy Ryder. I was expecting to find him fun and to fall in love with him a bit but he stole my heart. He's funny and smart but there's this vulnerable side I didn't see coming. Watching him evolve personally was incredible. He had me swooning and sighing. Now these two together? Prepare for your kindle to melt. The spark between them quickly becomes an inferno. Their first kiss is going down as one of my top five first kisses ever written-it's that good. But it's not all heat between them. Don't get me wrong, the sexy times are fantastic, but it's the relationship these two begin to unintentionally craft that had me grinning. Crazy fun dates, sweet little moments. The situation these two choose to put themselves in is tricky-and the author shows the balance they need to have perfectly. I haven't found another author who portrays the reality of a relationship as well as Lauren Blakely does. I *have* to mention the supporting cast of characters here. If you've read any of this author's other books be prepared to see some past characters make an appearance. I loved seeing these characters (even if they were just briefly mentioned) and catching up with them. I literally danced in my chair when my all time favorite Lauren Blakely hero made a cameo appearance. Don't worry-If you haven't read other books it's ok-this IS a standalone. I'd rate this book higher than five stars if I possibly could. It's just that incredible. This is a book I will read over and over. It has everything-humor, heart and heat. The characters are sexy and fun and real. Ms. Blakely has shown again why she is an immediate one click author for me and I eagerly look forward to her next book. Pure fun!! That is a Lauren Blakely book. I really do not know how many different ways that I can say "I Loved The Knocked Up Plan"! Excellent writing, well-developed characters, new and recurring characters that you just totally enjoying reading about. A woman who does not think that she is capable of love wants a baby. So she asks her very handsome coworker who possesses many many other perfect characteristics to be her baby daddy. Her coworker asks a favor of her as well. He has a work project so together they agree to help each other out. Here comes the fun. Lots and lots of fun. Like all Lauren Blakely books, you have super swoon-worthy guys, strong yet feminine women who together make for a great story and a great escape into Lauren's world. Totally recommend The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Ryder Lockhart and Nicole Powers The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely Lauren has delivered another bundle of joy for her readers. The Knocked Up Plan is a fun read that left this reader with a warm heart and a need to have a tissue box handy. This is not a sappy chick flick kind of book but there are moments when I just couldn’t help feeling sad for Nicole. I must also tell you I spent much of the time laughing. There were also moments when you wanted to smack them upside the head and say WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!! This is the first book that I have shared the plot to and read some of the lines out loud to my husband. I would be sitting there chuckling and he would ask what was so funny and I would read the passage. Let me tell you he just looked at me with a confused look on his face and didn’t even crack a smile. He has no clue why I continue to read these books (shhhh being male and all he doesn’t understand the NEED to read). We get to meet Nicole when she is going to tell her friends she has decided to have a child. It is the one thing she wants more than anything and she is going to do it on her own. She works for Hanky Panky Love (hahaha love this name), the dating division of media company. She writes a column and has a radio show on giving advice to women about sex and dating. Ryder Lockhart works for the same company any Nicole and they have been friends for the year he has worked there. Ryder does the same thing as Nicole only for men. He was married but is not divorced. His ex-wife had many affairs and was a sex addict. We get to learn how he found out and what went through his head during that time. Ryder is the type of man we all wish we can find. He takes his vows seriously so he felt very betrayed when he found out about her cheating. Divorce was his only option. Nicole believe she is broken because she has not found love and believes she isn’t capable of feeling that way for a man. Ryder doesn’t want to put his heart on the line again because he doesn’t want to get hurt. What happens when these two decide to work together to reach a common goal? You are going to have to read to find out. As a reader you almost dread picking up a romance book because they are all the same—find love; loose love; make up. Not in Lauren books. Her writing style is fun and flow seamlessly. It is fun to read text conversations between the characters; get to read what is going on in the character’s head or read their top 5 lists to decide how to proceed next. A lot of time the characters are on the same page and don’t even know it. The complexity of the story line seems to flow naturally through the pages and keeps the reader interested.

My Favorite Lauren Blakely Book!!

4.5☆ The Knocked Up Plan has now become my favorite Lauren Blakely book. I wasn't sure how much I would like Nicole based on the other books, but I thought she was a very well written character. She's an outgoing and determined woman who knows what she wants and decides to go for it, even if it isn't the norm. I loved Ryder! He's such a nice, caring guy and I really enjoyed reading about him. I loved seeing how his attitude about love changed throughout the book. I was very pleased that this was a dual perspective book. A lot would be lost if it would have only been from Ryder's POV. I love Ryder and Nicole's relationship and how they manage everything along the way. The storyline was different, definitely interesting, and of course funny!

And who other than Nicole to be that perfect person to help save his career! She wants a baby, he wants a few dates to save his career. What could possibly go wrong?? I adored The Knocked Up Plan! The whole storyline is so much fun and super unique! I loved Ryder and Nicole and their very odd way of getting together. They get along very well and mesh quite well outside the bedroom. Inside is super steamy baby making! Omg....I loved this book! And not just any regular-type love that I have for all of Lauren's books, but a wholehearted, all-encompassing, bona fide LOVE!! The Knocked Up Plan's title is 100% catchy, and the uniqueness of the story line keeps you intrigued the entire time. Factor in the incredible writing and a def-con swoon level of about a million, and this book is a trip to romance paradise! "And I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'm in love with the mother of my child." I literally got goosebumps from reading that line. A slow shiver ran through me, and I was a complete goner over the book! The romance and passion will no doubt get your heart racing, but the compassion, emotions, and insecurities hit your right in the feels when you least expect it. The character development, and comedic interactions and dialogue truly showcases The Knocked Up Plan's entertainment aspects. Ryder and Nicole are relationship experts until it comes to their own. Nicole wants a baby and wants Ryder to be the sperm donor without obligations and future responsibilities. The Knocked Up Plan is a sweet romance. With lots of Sexy Times.  Ryder and Nicole are co-workers. With their own radio shows. There’s one thing that Nicole wants and has always wanted. A baby! She doesn’t feel that she will never feel what it’s like, to be truly in love. So she comes out with a plan, a plan that doesn’t go as expected.  This to me had a different feel to it. The two characters really didn’t have that magnetic pull, that I'm used too, with Lauren’s characters. But I did highly enjoy it. You kind of know in the beginning where it will all lead. Because you can’t just not fall in love with someone and spend so much time with them. Overall, I give this Four Boundless Stars. It was an enjoyable fun romance.

We've seen her running with the other girls and their dogs. She is the one that was always touted as the relationship expert, but never believed that finding 'the one' was for her. We finally get to learn more about Nicole and why she is the way she is. She hosts a radio show called Hanky Panky Love. Ryder hosts his own show for the same media giant as Lauren. The two of them have been friends for quite a while, so when Lauren poses a request of her friend, they are both caught off guard. I absolutely love the interactions between ALL of the characters in this story. The relationships that Lauren has cultivated with her besties (and even the daughter of one) is beautiful. You guys really don't want to miss this one! I absolutely ADORED it. Favorite quotes - - "...I had the harebrained idea to ask my co-worker for a cup of baby batter." I don't know how the woman does it!! How Blakely can take a super sweet and endearing story and make it dirty and sexy all at the same time. But she does, and it's golden! The perfect story! Her books are so hard to choose from when asked 'what is your favorite Lauren Blakely book?' because I honestly love them all. But this book you guys, it really is ranked at the tippity top of my favorite Blakely book pile. Nicole is so sweet, I just love her! She's independent and knows what she wants, and she doesn't need a man to get it. Well, ok, she kinda does need a man....or at least something from a man to achieve her ultimate goal, a baby. For the second act, he kisses deeper, harder, with a hint of what he’ll do to me later. A little rough. A little greedy. All manly. My knees go weak. Seriously, that was HAWTT! Love a good kissing scene! They have so many super hot times and some really sweet ones too! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you will definitely swoon with this book....I promise you that! Another great book by Blakely and can't wait for the next one!

Happy Tears

Lauren Blakely, is one gifted author. I have never read one book of hers I haven't fallen in love with the male character, and this one is no different. I loved it from beginning to end. If your looking for an awesome unexpected Love Story, you've found the right book. You will laugh, uncontrollably. Plan on a bit of anxiety waiting for them to figure things out. But have a box of Kleenex close by for those happy tears when thy do.

Fantastic!

Fantastic! This is one of the best romances I've read. It is simple in nature with fun, realistic characters and a storyline filled with all kinds of love leading to a true and everlasting love. Nicole and Ryder are excellent characters that you can easily relate to. They're smart, funny, respectful and romantic (even if they don't realize it). Everything about them just works, the sex, the dates and the baby. I absolutely believe this is a must read for anyone who loves a true love romance. It's a don't miss read. Blakely remains the guru of romantic comedies!

Once again, I bow down to the greatness of Lauren Blakely’s comedic writing prowess and her ability to craft realistic and complex characters who traverse the modern dating world with a plethora of hang-ups and cynical attitudes. And, in her newest release, The Knocked Up Plan, Blakely constructs her story around two characters who are considered “dating gurus;” a hero and heroine who serve as life coaches to their radio and newspaper audiences, offering “dating, mating, and cohabitating” advice in order for their listeners to have a chance at a happily ever after in contemporary society. What’s most interesting about these romance instructors is that they don’t practice what they preach…for Nicole, it’s because she feels defective when it comes to giving her heart to someone, and for Ryder, it’s because he gave his heart to the wrong person who then proceeded to destroy every romantic notion he ever had when it came to his own love life. But despite their personal love issues, Nicole and Ryder join forces for “Project Bun in the Oven,” which means that as Ryder works to get his wingman mojo back by constructing a field guide to dating, Nicole and Ryder take a ride on the “baby-making train” allowing Nicole to get her heart’s desire and Ryder to “walk the walk” and “talk the talk” when it comes to winning the right woman’s heart, making his boss happy and perhaps re-educating himself about romance and intimacy. I absolutely adored Nicole and Ryder’s story. Lauren Blakely’s newest romantic comedy has a movie-like feel to it more so than her others simply because of the setting of the story and the main characters’ careers. Blakely never fails to craft comical one-liners that readers can picture their favorite comedic actors voicing and the way the storyline is laid out in The Knocked Up Plan perfectly fits the big screen formula. I truly believe that Blakely should create the Consummate Guide to writing Romantic Comedies because she definitely knows how to deliver a hilarious story that is both sweet and sensual, humorous and heartfelt, as well as witty and a bit dramatic. I just have to get this out of the way first...*swoon* Lauren F- Blakely never disappoints. With every book I fall in love even more with her writing and her characters. Ryder is definitely in my Top 5 Blakely Men list. And Nicole is up there for one of my favorite heroines. Together...they are everything and more. Two dating radio show hosts. One as given up on finding the one. The other thought he found the one and got burned. He doesn't want that again. So when his sexy co-worker explains what she wants most in life, he is willing to give it. A baby. No expectations. No future daddy duties. She just wants his swimmers. But, he has one condition. They create it the old fashioned way. Nicole has no problem signing on the dotted line. It's not the first time she thought about what sex would be like with him. And Ryder...oh, Ryder. Yes. He is hot. But he so much more. He has a big heart, sweet, protective, funny, and smart. I was rooting for this couple from the start. The connection was just there. You could feel it between them. And as they got to know each other it just got deeper and deeper. They are one of those couples that I won't ever forget. Overall...it's one of those books that you don't want to end. But at the same time you want to know how it will end. It's a fun, sexy, sweet, and emotional story. Lauren Blakely books just flat out make me happy. Everything she writes brings me pure joy. The smile on my face currently is a direct result of The Knocked Up Plan. I absolutely LOVED this book! (Pretty much a guarantee with this author.) Thank you Lauren Blakely for a smart, fun, strong and independent heroine in Nicole. Thank you the sexy, swoon worthy hero in Ryder. Thanks for this charming, witty, deliciously sexy story filled with laughter, swoons, and even a tear or two. Thank for this book. It’s perfect. The premise of The Knocked Up Plan is unique and fun. Nicole wants to have a baby. Alone. She just needs to find the perfect donor. She’s looking for someone who is college educated, handsome, and obviously not a serial killer. Enter Ryder, her sexy coworker. He’s perfect. Meets all her criteria and more importantly he’s not looking for a relationship. They strike up a deal where Nicole helps Ryder with a work project in return for his “cupcakes.” The baby making fun ensues and feelings develop. I am pretty much obsessed with Ryder and Nicole’s relationship. Their friendship evolved over the months of arrangement into something strong and passionate. They connect so well because they are both genuinely good people with shared interest and off the charts chemistry. I mean, they are seriously perfect for each other. Oh and their kisses and embraces are smoking hot. I just adored them. From the very first page, I just knew I was going to love Nicole. Her wit, determination and caring nature won me over immediately. I love a strong woman who goes after what she wants. That is one of Lauren Blakely’s strong suits. She never creates a weak woman. Ryder has made it onto my favorite Blakely Boy list. Swoon. That man and his ovaries exploding charm is everything you need in a hero. Betrayed in a previous relationship, it is not hard to understand why he sought out to remain single and unattached. Even though he is a confirmed commitment-phobe, he wasn’t a manwhore. Loved that. He’s such a great guy and I really really fell for him. If you are a fan of great romantic comedies with sweetness, great characters, heat, and a unique and refreshing plot line, I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan. Time and time again, this author knocks it out of the park. She never disappoints.

There is so much to love about this friends to lovers romance! It is hilarious, hot & steamy and a new sexy alpha hero that you can't help but fall in love with. Ryder is a successful author who helps men find the woman of their dreams. Since the breakup of his marriage he has lost his faith in the HEA. His boss is forcing him to find his romantic side again and come up with a dating guide. Ryder is at a loss at where to start. His sexy coworker and ping pong partner, Nicole, believes she isn't made for love. She does feel her clock ticking and wants to have a baby tho. Handsome, smart, funny, Ryder has the perfect attributes to be the potential father. They come to an agreement to help each other out. But as they spend more time together going on the perfect dates and then trying to make a baby, their attraction grows. Will they be able to walk away when their 'projects' are completed without breaking their hearts and remain friends? I loved Ryder and Nicole together, their banter was witty, and their chemistry was explosive. They also complimented each other, feeling like two halves of a whole, completing each other. We were treated to cameos from characters from previous books which is always fun. There are also some intriguing twin brothers that I hope to read more about soon. I highly recommend this heartfelt, smart, funny, sweet and sexy romance!

The Knocked Up Plan was fun, flirty, sexy and made me swoon! Lauren Blakely made me fall once again for her amazing leading man. Nicole has not had luck in the love department and she's ready to have a baby alone. After looking at sperm banks and everyone falling short, she realizes the perfect choice is right under her nose. Who better than her sexy co-worker to provide her with his perfect genes. Ryder is the perfect choice because he's not interested in being anything more. Turns out they can both help each other. Well, things get complicated when they decided to have fun and do things the natural way. You are going to love the hot, funny banter between them. The heat is coming off the pages when these two come together. Will this work? Can they keep things casual and remain friends? I promise you won't be able to put this book down! 5 fantastic stars!!

Terrific, fun read from a talented author!

This charming tale of Nicole and Ryder draws you in from the first page. Nicole, a radio talk show host, expert on love and relationships, has never been in love. As a strong, independent woman, she decides she doesn’t need a man, but wants to have a baby alone. Ryder, a hot-as-sin colleague, works at the same station and has all the attributes she wants in a donor. Though the storyline is somewhat predictable, the writing is crisp and quick, the characters are extremely likable, their chemistry is hot, banter is delightful and I couldn’t help wishing for them to find their happily ever after. The Knocked Up Plan is a terrific read from this very talented author.

Scrumptious!

This book is absolutely scrumptious in every way! I love being able to experience the story from both Ryder and the Nicole's point of view because while I might intrinsically know what a woman is thinking I usually have no idea what men are thinking and the insight really enhances the storyline for me. Lauren writes the most entertaining sexual innuendo between her characters and all that dirty-talking flirtation sets the scene for panty-melting sex scenes that are really HOT but never cross the line into vulgarity which is a real turn-off for me. And, last but not least, what could be sexier than a baby daddy who adores the changes pregnancy brings to a woman's body and is humbled by the sight of his child on an ultrasound screen? OMG! My extremely happy heart melted all over the floor at the end of this happily-ever-after that is one of Lauren's best books to date. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

A heartfelt sweet story

Once again, Lauren gave a story that was sweet, hot, and entertaining. I truly enjoyed every moment as I was reading and couldn’t get enough of it. Ryder and Nicole were such great characters. And these two together were fantastic. So perfect and explosive. I laughed, smiled, and swooned. The premise of the story is in the blurb but there is so much more to it than just having a baby. The feels in this story was overwhelming. A beautiful fun romantic story that will definitely have the reader smiling at the end. Lauren always knows how to give a charming light read. Readers will enjoy this new addition to the sexy Blakely men and awesome women. An amazing read.

In this masterpiece you will find bold easy to like characters who are never afraid to put themselves out there. Lauren was brilliant in how she intertwined this story with the careers of Nicole and Ryder. While you may sniffle time to time you will laugh as much from the quick quips out of the good-hearted friends and family that surround them as well as the two who seemed to have done their homework to be knowledgeable on what they want. Obviously plenty of sex! Love how the plan unfolded! Great read!!

I do not even have to start to think about how I want to write this review because I simply adored this book so very much! I cannot fathom how Lauren Blakely continues to pen stories that are heartwarming, hilarious and hot all wrapped up in a perfect package! But she does and thank goodness for that! Nicole and Ryder are faced with a serious decision and a real-life problem...and they tackle it for sure! I love how this story is from both POVs so you can get a full picture of this adventure! If you're looking for romance, fun, surprises and "cupcakes" this book is for you!

I'm always a fan of Lauren Blakely's work-her writing is my kryptonite. When I see her books on my kindle they immediately move to the top of my TBR list-and I devour them. I try to savor...but I just can't. The concept this particular book sounded so different that I was dying to get my hands on it. I wanted to see the journey these two took. As I've come to expect from Ms. Blakely this book had me laughing out loud in spots, and swooning in others. It even had me crying-more than once. From the very first sentence I was sucked in. Nicole charmed me immediately-I adored her. I GOT her. I thought she was funny and sweet. She's a strong woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. Her support system is great-both family and friends-and I loved cheering her on as I read along. Ryder. Holy sexy Ryder. I was expecting to find him fun and to fall in love with him a bit but he stole my heart. He's funny and smart but there's this vulnerable side I didn't see coming. Watching him evolve personally was incredible. He had me swooning and sighing. Now these two together? Prepare for your kindle to melt. The spark between them quickly becomes an inferno. Their first kiss is going down as one of my top five first kisses ever written-it's that good. But it's not all heat between them. Don't get me wrong, the sexy times are fantastic, but it's the relationship these two begin to unintentionally craft that had me grinning. Crazy fun dates, sweet little moments. The situation these two choose to put themselves in is tricky-and the author shows the balance they need to have perfectly. I haven't found another author who portrays the reality of a relationship as well as Lauren Blakely does. I *have* to mention the supporting cast of characters here. If you've read any of this author's other books be prepared to see some past characters make an appearance. I loved seeing these characters (even if they were just briefly mentioned) and catching up with them. I literally danced in my chair when my all time favorite Lauren Blakely hero made a cameo appearance. Don't worry-If you haven't read other books it's ok-this IS a standalone. I'd rate this book higher than five stars if I possibly could. It's just that incredible. This is a book I will read over and over. It has everything-humor, heart and heat. The characters are sexy and fun and real. Ms. Blakely has shown again why she is an immediate one click author for me and I eagerly look forward to her next book. I highly recommend The Knocked Up Plan.

Pure fun!!

Pure fun!! That is a Lauren Blakely book. I really do not know how many different ways that I can say "I Loved The Knocked Up Plan"! Excellent writing, well-developed characters, new and recurring characters that you just totally enjoying reading about. A woman who does not think that she is capable of love wants a baby. So she asks her very handsome coworker who possesses many many other perfect characteristics to be her baby daddy. Her coworker asks a favor of her as well. He has a work project so together they agree to help each other out. Here comes the fun. Lots and lots of fun. Like all Lauren Blakely books, you have super swoon-worthy guys, strong yet feminine women who together make for a great story and a great escape into Lauren's world. Totally recommend The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Bundle of Joy to read

Ryder Lockhart and Nicole Powers The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely Lauren has delivered another bundle of joy for her readers. The Knocked Up Plan is a fun read that left this reader with a warm heart and a need to have a tissue box handy. This is not a sappy chick flick kind of book but there are moments when I just couldn’t help feeling sad for Nicole. I must also tell you I spent much of the time laughing. There were also moments when you wanted to smack them upside the head and say WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!! This is the first book that I have shared the plot to and read some of the lines out loud to my husband. I would be sitting there chuckling and he would ask what was so funny and I would read the passage. Let me tell you he just looked at me with a confused look on his face and didn’t even crack a smile. He has no clue why I continue to read these books (shhhh being male and all he doesn’t understand the NEED to read). We get to meet Nicole when she is going to tell her friends she has decided to have a child. It is the one thing she wants more than anything and she is going to do it on her own. She works for Hanky Panky Love (hahaha love this name), the dating division of media company. She writes a column and has a radio show on giving advice to women about sex and dating. Ryder Lockhart works for the same company any Nicole and they have been friends for the year he has worked there. Ryder does the same thing as Nicole only for men. He was married but is not divorced. His ex-wife had many affairs and was a sex addict. We get to learn how he found out and what went through his head during that time. Ryder is the type of man we all wish we can find. He takes his vows seriously so he felt very betrayed when he found out about her cheating. Divorce was his only option. Nicole believe she is broken because she has not found love and believes she isn’t capable of feeling that way for a man. Ryder doesn’t want to put his heart on the line again because he doesn’t want to get hurt. What happens when these two decide to work together to reach a common goal? You are going to have to read to find out. As a reader you almost dread picking up a romance book because they are all the same—find love; loose love; make up. Not in Lauren books. Her writing style is fun and flow seamlessly. It is fun to read text conversations between the characters; get to read what is going on in the character’s head or read their top 5 lists to decide how to proceed next. A lot of time the characters are on the same page and don’t even know it. The complexity of the story line seems to flow naturally through the pages and keeps the reader interested.
